This desert journey is both a “real journey” and a metaphor for how we travel through life. In the desert we encounter physical discomforts, which help us find clarity about where we stand in life. At the same time, the desert is a place where deep silence and the unlikely beauty of nature constantly mirror our essence. During this journey we will move through the different landscapes of the Sahara; dunes, plains and oases. In each place we will explore how our bodies respond to the elements and the vast environment. Life is a journey and we are all travelers<\/h1>\n
\nDuring this journey, long walking days in silence will alternate with days where we are in one place. We walk, we meditate, we dance to live music and move in other ways. We will move on foot in a small caravan. With a local guide, cook, camels and their companions. We trust that the journey will be exactly the one we need. Due to the nature of this desert journey, it is impossible to predict exactly how and where we will be.<\/p>\nPractical details:<\/h3>\n
\n<\/strong>9-19 November 2025<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>Moroccan Sahara We will gather in Ouarzazate in the evening of November 10, from there we will drive with one or two vans on November 11 to Ouled Driss on the edge of desert. Depending on when we arrive, we will sleep the first night in Ouled Driss and depart the next morning into the Sahara.
\nIn the desert we will sleep in tents or under the “bare sky.”
\nThere is always the choice of sleeping in a tent, in most cases a double tent.<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>\u20ac1675, = book before September 1: \u20ac 1575, = (incl. intake \u20ac 45, = incl.)
\nIntake is necessary due to the nature of the trip. Incl. full board (from breakfast day 2 to breakfast day 11), tour guide and accommodation from the evening of November 10 in Ouarzatate until the morning of November 20. (Payment in parts is possible) Excl. Flight, tips for the guides, extra drinks, insurances, expenses of personal nature and possible extra program parts outside the program (e.g. visit hamam on return in Ouarzazate).<\/p>\n
